Will Google’s Nexus One usurp the iPhone Market?
Apple revolutionary vision and the iPhone may have met their match with Google’s Nexus One. While Steve Wozniak is not giving up his iPhone he was impressed with the Nexus One he received from Google executive Andy Rubin. Just how do the two phones compare with each other? You get a 3.7 inch display on the Nexus One compared to iPhone’s 3.5 inch diagonal display. The Nexus One also beats out the iPhone in pixels with 480 x 800 compared to 480 x 320 and 252.15 ppi as opposed to iPhone’s 163 ppi. iPhone capacitive touchscreen is designed to be used with your fingers and has the ability of multi-touch sensing. The Google phone has an illuminated trackball but is capable of multi-touch although this is not the default setting for applications if the US market.
